Strikeback! (1996)

Strikeback! (1996)

Strikeback! is a series co-created by Jonathan Peterson and Kevin Maguire. The series was first published by Bravura (Malibu) but only 3 of the proposed 6 issues were ever put out. The creators later took the series to Image comics, which re-published issues 1-3, and wrapped up with issue 5.The interior art and story for issues 1-3 is almost completely identical to the Bravura issues (1-3). The Image series is printed on a non-glossy paper and the cameo of the Finster is replaced with a cameo of Savage Dragon in issue 1. Also in issue 3, the two page spreads are correctly printed in order in the Image volume versus being broken up on different pages (and very hard to read) in the Bravura volume. Kevin Maguire drew all new covers for the Image issues.

Gen13/Fantastic Four

Gen13/Fantastic Four

Set during Gen 13's time in New York City, the teen heroes cross paths with the Fantastic Four — though not on the friendliest of terms. Roxy's pet, the lovable, interdimensional furball known as Qeelocke, has grown one hell of a mean streak, heading into the streets on a monstrous rampage. The Human Torch is able to subdue him (with a little help from a certain web-slinger), and takes him into custody at FF headquarters. When Roxy comes looking for her little friend, a smitten Johnny Storm is all too happy to help. This one small act of friendship brings the two teams together, setting the stage for a confrontation that no fan should dare miss!
