Tank Girl 2
Tank Girl's back in a new four-issue miniseries, and this time she's nastier than ever. Remember her debut in the United States? She met the devil, drank a lot of beer, and snogged a kangaroo. But that was nothing. Now she has to spend an entire week at Bell's End, the Rest Home for the Socially Retarded. And no firearms allowed!
Tank Girl (1991)
Beer and killer kangaroos and bashed-out brains and belly buttons and presidents and cutouts and anarchy and more beer and cigs and bar-b-q(s) and parties and explosions and breasts and demons and more beer and ... most important... Tank Girl!

But then he met Belle, a young village girl who loved to read, and laugh, and dream. Could she be the one to break the spell? It didn't seem possible-- for who could ever learn to love a beast?

The new Legion series was to be released solely through the direct market while the "Tales" series would continue to be released through both the direct and newsstand markets. This format was designed to emulate the mainstream book market where a book would be released in hardcover with a paperback (or softcover) release coming about a year later. In this case, the higher-priced direct market edition was the "hardcover" and the lower-priced newsstand edition was the "paperback."Most specialty comics stores quit ordering the Tales series after #325.
