Stormwatch: Team Achilles

Stormwatch: Team Achilles

With The Authority now policing the Wildstorm Universe it seems as if there is no longer any need for a Stormwatch team. However, Ben Santini believes differently. Santini was the former Director of Operations at International Operations. He was once wounded by a S.P.B. (Super-Powered-Being) and has held a grudge against them ever since. He puts together a new Stormwatch team called Team Achilles with the intent to keep an eye on the superpowered populace. But with almost no funding and a team of mostly non-superpowered humans, Team Achilles has all the chips stacked against them. So they must rely on their wits and perhaps a little luck, in order to survive.

Stormwatch: P.H.D.

Once again the world finds itself without a Stormwatch team. But Jackson King, a former Stormwatch member and Weatherman, intends to change that. Just as Stormwatch: Team Achilles before him, King finds little support from the United Nations and he too decides that putting together a group of mostly non-superpowered humans is the best way to go. However, with the Post Human Division, as he calls it, King intends to work with local law enforcement to get them better equipped to deal with superpowered threats with the P.H.D. acting as supervisors. But in a world where superpowered beings run rampant, the P.H.D.'s non-superpowered members find themselves to truly be the minority.
