Batman: Gotham Nights was a four-issue limited series that began in March 1992 and ended in June 1992. It followed the daily lives of Gotham citizens.

Batman investigates the death of a man whose daughter claims that the crime was committed by aliens. His search for answers brings him first to Franklin Selly(known as "The Kook") and later to Area 51.
