Spider-Man: Death and Destiny
Years ago, Spider-Man and his cast of characters suffered a horrible loss...but the aftermath went largely unexplored. Now we travel back to the days after Captain George Stacy died at the hands, make that tentacles, of Doctor Octopus. How did Harry Osborn, J. Jonah Jameson and Gwen Stacy deal with this horrific event? Most importantly, how did Peter Parker react when he came to the realization that he hadn't honored his pledge to the dying Captain to take care of Gwen? And what of Otto Octavious himself? Has the multi-limbed foe slinked into the shadows to merely lick his wounds? Or is the good Doctor preparing his most sinister scheme ever?

Tales of the Batman: Alan Brennert
Penning just a handful of comic tales over two decades, writer Alan Brennert was never a prolific contributor to the DC Universe. But to fans familiar with those iconic tales, Brennert ranks among the all-time greatest Batman authors. Primarily a writer of television and literary fiction, he wrote only nine stories for DC Comics, but all were instant classics. Largely taking place outside of the main DC continuity, in the realms of Elseworlds and Earth-Two, Brennert's comics are some of the most-thought provoking and insightful in the Dark Knight's history. Also featuring art by industry legends Jim Aparo, Dick Giordano, Joe Staton, Norm Breyfogle and José Luis García-López, TALES OF THE BATMAN: ALAN BRENNERT brings together for the first time the complete works of a writer who has been a staple DC "Greatest Stories" collections for decades.

Savage Dragon vs. Savage Megaton Man
The green-finned cop known as Savage Dragon was busy fighting a bunch of ruthless evildoers who called themselves Johnny Redbeard’s Nixxed Men (a barely disguised jab at John Byrne’s Next Men). Unfortunately for all concerned, the action was observed over in the Megahero Universe by the Megatropolis Quartet. Exercising their limited intellects, they concluded that the alternate universe known as Earth-Image had been attacked by green-finned aliens. Since the colorfully clad Nixxed Men were being beaten up so badly, they decide to send Megaton Man in to rescue them. The rest, as they say, was chaos.
