Its eighteenth century Europe. A besieged city is getting bombarded with cannon ball fire from the Sultan and his Turkish army. However, for the citizens of this crumbling city, a play is being performed within its walls, called "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen." When the real Baron arrives in the midst of this play, he must prove who he is to the audience, and tell of the real adventure as to why he's responsible for the Sultans attack on this city.
Gods, Gods, Gods... the world has more Gods than you can shake a broadsword at! And all these Gods have their own territory. Odin, top God in Asgard, has wandered into China and has been trapped by Chinese Gods. The Gods of Asgard are too busy to help. Only the Viking, Modi can find Odin and set him free. But Modi can't touch a weapon, or he will lose his soul. This should be interesting. Modi has been honored by the Gods and has fought by the side of Thorr. But now Modi is only a mortal, faced with the dreary life of an earth-bound warrior. He has become a berserker - it is almost as if he has a death wish - to die in battle. And he just might get his wish as the Gods send him on a quest to cross the world, find Odin and set him free.
Siren. Temptress. Man-eater. Call Chase Darrow what you want, but whatever label you choose, the truth is she's the BREATHTAKER... a nice young woman who possesses the power to love a man to death. Chase Darrow is a succubus. BREATHTAKER is part horror story, about a woman with the power to drain men of their very life force... part romance, because those men are her willing victims... part crime story, as Chase is forced to run from the government which has branded her a criminal... and part super-hero story: The Man, a popular television and merchandising figure who also happens to have powers and abilities - beyond those of the average man - that he's going to use to hunt down and capture Chase in an effort to boost his sagging Nielsen ratings.
