Mumm-Ra is informed by Lantan Lin that there is a second Eye of Thundera, but it is in the city of Metropolis, which is very distant from Thunderra. So Mumm-Ra decides to use his Orbs of Barrack to teleport to Metropolis and get the second Eye. Luckily Nupil was spying on Mumm-Ra, and tells the Thundercats.

Three thousand miles away in the city of Metropolis, a group of thieves belonging to a cult known as the Temple of Bagdan, break into the Metropolis Museum of Natural History. They begin stealing a cache of priceless mystical relics. The hero known as Superman arrives and attempts to stop them. The leader of the Bagdanites withdraws a magic staff and uses it to summon a powerful demon. While Superman wrestles with the monster, the thieves make their getaway. Outsiders (Volume 3) began publication in September of 2003 and ended in 2007 after printing 50 issues. The series followed the break-up of the Titans after the events of Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day and included former Titans members Nightwing and Arsenal. The rest of the initial line-up included Jade, Indigo and Shift (an aspect of Metamorpho). The series also introduced two new characters, Grace and Thunder. Following cancellation, the team was re-organized as the second incarnation of Batman and the Outsiders.
