For the first time ever, legendary comics creators Gilbert Hernandez (Love and Rockets) and Darwyn Cooke (DC: THE NEW FRONTIER) have joined forces for a surreal project unlike anything you've ever read before! When a white orb washes up on the shore of a remote Latin American village, a group of children naturally poke at the strange object to see what it is. The orb explodes, leaving the children completely blind. And when a beautiful young woman who may be an alien is found wandering the seafront, she's taken in by the townspeople, but soon becomes a person of interest to a quirky pair of undercover CIA agents, and the target of affection for a young scientist. Can they come together to prevent an all-out alien invasion and save the souls in this sleepy, seaside town?

The team started as Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin, Aquaman, Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog. There was a storyline in issue 7 which lasted 3 issues where the Wonder Twins (Zan, Jayna, Gleek) came to Earth to warn Earth's heroes of an impending threat by the name of Grax. This storyline included the entire Justice League and the Global Guardians. At the end of the story (Issue 9) Wendy and Marvin had captured Grax and The Super Friends said that they completed their training and were ready to become full fledged super heroes. Both kids said they were going to college and Zan and Jayna asked if the Super Friends would train them and they agreed. Many issues had morals for the Wonder Twins to learn. Issue 10 showed us that an old friend of Superman and Batman, Professor Carter Nicholls agreed to be the Guardian of Zan and Jayna and he came up with alter egos and a European Country that they came from. Also we met a group of alien heroes who tracked a beautiful woman to earth. The twins learned a valuable lesson that the monsters were the heroes and the beauty was the evil one.

After defeating the Baxter Stockman Robot, and unknown to his brothers, Donatello takes the robot's remains and sequesters them in a secret room hidden in the sewers. Why would he choose to reactivate their old enemy and more importantly, what is this new robot prowling the sewers?

In a futuristic society, five years after the development of a successful AIDS vaccine, a number of subcultures have arisen centered around sexual attraction to various categories of nonhumans. Vegisexuals, zoosexuals, and mineralsexuals all have their own cultural viewpoints and agendas, with some being more mainstream than others. The narrator of the story, Officer Jok, even gets mocked by other law-enforcers when he appears to be harboring heterosexual feelings toward a human female. Cultural clashes ensue providing a backdrop against which Officer Jok struggles as he realizes his own feelings pull him toward crossing the elaborate but strictly-defined status quo he is supposed to protect.

Zack Overkill and his twin brother Xander were super-powered mercenaries.  They committed crimes for the money, not concerning themselves with any innocent deaths.  When Xander was killed, Zack testified against his boss and entered the Witness Protection plan.  As part of his parole, Zack must take drugs that suppresses his super powers.  Working as a mail clerk in an office, Zack is bored out of his mind.
