Another Horror House beauty, this collects three stories from the little-known classic series done in the late days of Fiction House Comics, Dr. Drew. Drawn by one-time Spirit assistant Jerry Grandenetti, the cloaked psychic investigator stalks through adventures that are rendered more Eisnerish than an actual Will Eisner story! Thrill to “The Devil’s Violin”, (from Rangers #50, 1949) “Sabina The Sorceress”, (from Rangers #56, 1950) and “The Strange Case Of The Absent Floor”. ( from Rangers #47, 1949) This is good stuff- spooky stories with personality, character, drama, humor asnd great design. Highly recommended.
