WCW World champion Lex Luger is introduced and the story centers around a 15-man battle royal with the last man standing in the ring earning a title match with the champ. "All American" Ron Simmons wins the battle by outlasting the other 14 men, but is attacked from behind by Luger. Luger injures the would-be challenger and Simmons is carried out of the arena on a stretcher, with Luger gloating to the crowd about his dominance as Simmons is carted out of the building.
