Goth kid Maddox MacClarran accidentally becomes really dead while trying to save a life, and finds himself trapped in both San Francisco and Purgatory with his new roommates: a ghost that doesn't know he's dead, a bipolar body-piercer, a masochistic trading-card junkie and an obsessive-compulsive fetish-model. If that wasnt bad enough, the ancient Irish god who haunts his bloodline has decided to manifest all Maddoxs inner demons in the flesh, just to force him to face up to them.
